Project management Consultant (PMC) for the state of selangor

UPEN Selangor

KYEOB was appointed as PMC by the State of Selangor Economic Planning Unit to monitor, inspect, review and analyse the water scheme system’s ability to supply water to the entire State of Selangor including raw water source, treated water production, distribution piping system and water tanks. Our role also includes to identify and review water demand pattern of current and future.

 

Our project management process also includes close attention to project details. We track our projects closely and prepare, retain accurate and up-to-date progress records and reports relating to project costs, schedules, permits, as-built documentation, etc

Highways

Road & Bridges

  • The project involved the construction of viaducts and widening of the existing dual-two lane road to dual-three lane road of the Federal Route 54 between Bandar Sri Damansara and Sg. Buloh, Selangor. This project was based on Design and Build concept.
  •  The project involved the construction of an access road to the new Kolej Universiti Teknikal Kebangsaan Malaysia, Melaka, Malaysia. The access road joins the new Sg Udang- Ayer Keroh Highway. This project was implemented based on Design and Build contract
Development

Building & Residential

KYEOB  was appointed for the project planning and detailed design of the Federal Office Complex, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The scope consists of design of foundation, structures, building services and external works for the Federal Office complex. The project was completed in 2001

The project consists of over 10,000 residential and commercial buildings, public amenities and infrastructures. KYEOB was responsible for the planning and design of the infrastructure facilities which include water pumping facilities and storage, sewage treatment plant, internal road, drainage and water & sewerage pipe reticulation

This was a proposed privatization of army camp located in Lambir, Miri, Sarawak to replace the existing army camp near Miri Town. KYEOB was responsible for the planning and design of civil and structure components. The project consists of construction of buildings and infrastructures, recreational, public and training facilities. The infrastructures facilities include water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, internal road, drainage and water & sewerage pipe reticulation.

The project is to evaluate the estimated project cost to complete the existing abandoned 1 Sulaman mixed residential and commercial development in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The existing project comprises of 1008 Residential units and 106 commercial lots. KYEOB was responsible for the preparation of dilapidated survey and reports, preparation of conditional report for the building structure and analysis of any rehabilitation works.

The proposed Halal Hub Industrial zone is located in Banting, Selangor. The project consists of construction of buildings and infrastructures, recreational, public and training facilities. We are responsible for the infrastructures facilities planning including water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, internal road, drainage and water & sewerage pipe reticulation

KYEOB was appointed for the development of a master plan for teaching hospital, private hospital, elevated parking and also several university apartments for USIM students and staff. This 12-storey hospital building can accommodate 537 beds, a 9 beds Royal Hospital complex, 4 units of 12-storey student accommodations and 5 units of 6-storey staff apartments.

  • KYEOB was appointed as specialist consultant to assist the construction of man-made signature lake as recreation spot besides acting as flood mitigation pond for the development of East Ledang housing scheme under UEM Sunrise. Our role was to carry out the water resources study and underground water study, carry out a comprehensive hydrological study and prepare hydraulic and hydrological reports for submission and approval from JPS and MPJBT. We were also tasked to design the treatment facilities of the storm water using physical and biological aspect before it flows into the pond. We also assisted the main consultant in preparation of working drawings and provide technical advice during the design and construction stage.

Flood Management

The primary goal of this study is to formulate an Integrated Drainage and Flood Mitigation Master Plan for Baroh Tok Jiring/Batu Rakit catchment area.

Sungai Segget sustainable restoration project comprises of Flood Mitigation, River Cleaning, Water Quality Restoration and River Corridor Beautification. The main aim of this project is to improve and restore the river quality of Sungai Segget to meet Class IIA of the Interim National Water Quality Standard (INWQS) river classification and act as flood mitigation under Sungai Segget watershed.

The development involved hydrological and hydraulic study, detail investigation, detail design and supervision. The project objective is re-constructed existing ex-mining pond in Kg. Sg. Darah to receive diverted excess flood water from Sg. Selangor to supplement additional raw water supply to the existing water intake in Bestari Jaya

Water

Water Supply & Distribution

  • The main objective of the project is to construct new, replace and demolished a total of 28 water tank across Negeri Sembilan together with pipe replacement work and other ancillary works. The project owner is Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) and the end user is Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan (SAINS). KYEOB’s involvement was to carry out the demand study, calculate the hydraulic flow, identify new water profile for new tank, design water tank and prepare cost estimate

  • The rural areas within Pedas Lama, Rembau experienced inadequate water supply problem. Hence, under the Bekalan Air Luar Bandar Program, the Client envisage to improve the water supply situation by embarking to upgrade the existing 9MLD Pedas Lama Water Treatment works. KYEOB scope of works involved the following:

  • As a continuation effort in complying with the Environmental Quality Regulation, KYEOB was appointed to carry out detailed engineering design of centralised residual disposal site. This would be the first treated sludge landfill in State of Johor.  Our role involves concept and detail design, preparation of specifications, drawings and bill of quantities of mechanical & electrical components.

  • KYEOB was appointed to provide engineering consultancy services (planning & design) and site supervision during construction stage

  • The main objective of the project is to design the intake level lower than the river water level to maximise the extraction raw water to supply at Semangar WTP. The project owner is Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) and the end user is Syarikat Air Johor (SAJ). KYEOB was responsible to carry out the yield study of the main river and undertake the design aspect of new abstraction intake and raw water pumping station.
